Pursuant to Art. 14 st. 3 and Art. 41 st. 1 of The Law of National Bank of Serbia ("Official Gazette. Gazette of RS", no. 72/2003, 55/2004, 85/2005 - Dr. Law and 44/2010) The NBS Executive Board on 12.07.2012 addopted the Decision of raising the key policy rate from 10.00% to 10.25%.

This Decision was published on the website of the National Bank of Serbia on 12.07.2012 and shall take effect upon its adoption.

As it is pursuant to the provision of Art. 75 st. 1 of the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration ("Off. Gazette of RS", no. 80/2002, ... 101/2011 and 2/2012 - corr.) on the amount of underpaid or overpaid taxes annual interest are paid at a rate equal to Key Policy Rate of the NBS increased by 10%, from 12.07.2012 on the unduly paid taxes annual interest are paid at a rate of 20.25%.
